I will be planting my usual tomatoes, green bean, carrots, peas, and such.
I moved my asparagus. In another 2 years or so it will be producing grown sized spears.
I am planting tobacco.
I am envious of your anise Hyssop. I planted that and blue hyssop and didn't have any luck. I am not sure if I have seeds for those next Spring.
My raspberry bushes should do well next year if I can figure out a way to keep the chickens from getting the berries 1st.

only thing i can think of,when it comes to keeping the chickens from the berries..is to fence it off in some way..
Yeah, my gardens have fences (though the juveniles get in anyway.
I think I am going to have to move my raspberry plants. They are to close to the chicken yard. Then I will fence them in. I wonder if moving them will make them not make berries the 1st summer after moving them. They get trimmed back almost to the ground and then they grow really big by summer so they might would do ok.

lookin good jimle. Hope you get a lot. We didnt do to much with a garden this year. 1st time in years. I think in this new state we live in there was a lot of new challenges we encountered and so took a break this year. Some squash, potatos etc. But those horrid squash bugs again. So we wont be seeing much squash. We tried the hydroponics this year. Doing good and getting lots of tomatos and the peppers are looking good. Personally Im not a big fan of this method. Took much money to get started. Got to admit the plants look really good tho. I guess Im thinking this method couldnt really be used if the grid goes down. Requires electricity. But the hubby got him a hobby this year and we get lots of tomatos. So well be dehydrating those. If you have the green peppers jimle really keep an eye out for this large green worm. It luvs peppers. It is large yet so hard to spot.
