Lets share some gardening tips, tricks and hacks. I have learned that permanent markers are not permanent when making plant markers for gardens(especially if you want to leave markers through the winter for perennials. I have discovered that laundry markers work much better. I use Sharpie Rubadub brand. In the fall remark your markers to keep them from fading over the winter. It is agrivating in the spring to find the markers faded so you cant tell what the plant is.LOL Here are some more cool hacks. Do you have some good gardening tips to share?

Great tips. The strawberries in the PVC pipe, they do dry out pretty fast, so water irrigation will save your time and your plants! I have planted in the smaller vertical (wall) garden and it didn't do very well at all. Needed to water a lot more than the regular garden.

I have planted in the smaller vertical (wall) garden and it didn't do very well at all. Needed to water a lot more than the regular garden. I wondered if they would dry out in the vertical garden. I tried to plant strawberries in a pallet (not vertical) that didn't do well either. There just isn't room enough for enough dirt so they dry out.

For those shallow vertical gardens..get a small water pump like for ponds. Add drip irrigation tubing and connectors, drop pump into a 5 gallon bucket of water right next to the garden, plug in pump. It will water continuously. You can set the rate of drip using the right petcock.
